And just like that the best band in the world releases a new single which immediately jumps all the way up to #1 song of the year for me:

Drummer is wearing an Alabama cap. That's an automatic middle finger from me.

I did dig Woody Harrelson on the guitar.

I need to listen to this band because they're a big black hole in my knowledge at the moment...

I really love this band. A while back somebody posted something about their Neon EP....I went out and listened and it just grabbed me immediately. I think their last album, Any Way the Wind Carries, is just brilliant. A really great blend of melodic and dark, and I really like the guy's voice.

I dig the new song. It does seem like they're going for something a little poppier and brighter?

I love the Neon EP - those four songs are all just amazing through and through. The last album is splendid as well, and I must have listened to it more than almost any other album in the last couple of years.

The debut was more “laid back” I feel, not as “urgent” in getting their point across - the point being (at least how I interpret it) to show that with simple instrumentation you can actually create huge melodies and at the same time make it sound technically challenging ... I guess that’s the true definition of progressive?!

Yeah the new song sound even more basic and I think it fits well within the aforementioned point.

There’s something special about this band for sure!
