I published a novel

I've been frequenting this board for many years and have been part of some great discussions. I have no idea if anybody would be interested in this, but I published a novel. You can find out more information about it here:

Congrats on the accomplishment. I know exactly how much work it is to write a novel, so no matter what comes of it, be proud of yourself.

Is it more beneficial in terms of "numbers sold" to buy through Amazon or B&N, or directly from you?

It doesn't matter really. I have a bunch here that I sell at a "premium" because I sign them. If you just want the book, you're better off getting it from wherever you buy books. Incidentally, multiple authors I talked to told me not to bother with platforms other than Amazon. I ignored this advice, but it turns out it was true: so far I haven't sold a single book on B&N, Google, Apple, or Kobo. I know I'm a new author just starting out, but I figured somebody in my circles had to be using one of these other platforms. Nope. Not a single book. I wonder if these other platforms are just loss leaders these companies' other businesses?
