****One of my early heroes of prog metal on the Internet ...... back in the day, before he became a name, he and I interacted online and he was such a nice guy. Incredible keyboard player as we all know, and by all accounts, an incredible person as well. I've been happy to have seen him many times perform with TSO, and I'm glad that someone like that band recognized his greatness...... R.I.P. Vitalij.

Very sad news indeed. Vitalij was an amazing keyboardist and composer. Between his work with Ring of Fire, Artension, solo albums, TSO and countless other projects, he was a very prolific musician with his own really unique sound, and he will be missed. Also, going out at 49 is just way too early ... way too early.
