What's the next item in this list? (AKA "What should I listen to next?")

I'm clearly in need of more variety in my musical life. The last few months have been the following 4 albums; each one spent a few weeks on repeat, and then I switched to the next one:

1. Threshold, Legends of the Shires
2. Braindance, Master of Disguise
3. Threshold, Dividing Lines
4. Tim Donahue, Madmen & Sinners

So, I ask you, the Perpetual Motion Community: What's item 5 on that list? I'll say just for the sake of completeness that harsh/growl vocals are a complete deal-killer for me.

I'm going on a bit of an Edritch kick right now. Played "Headquake" last night, and MAN is that album even better than I remember. First four tracks are all KILLER. And that is saying something, with "El Nino" up soon (far and away my favorite of theirs)

Also have the new Threshold in the car now (finally). Only a couple tracks in, but once again.... It's Threshold, therefore it's GREAT.

Your really limiting yourself by not including music with harsh vocals.
Two of my all time favourite bands are incredible epic progressive/black/death/pagan/folk metal sung in their native tongue.
They (Moonsorrow and Finsterforst) are far more musically adventurous than 99.9% of the so called 'prog metal' bands that get highly praised here.
But I do understand that the vocals can be a killer, I just view them as another musical instrument in the mix.

I tried Eldritch back in the day, but couldn't get into it ... for reasons that I can't at all remember. I'll have to give it another shot. Thanks for the reminder!

The new Threshold is indeed great.

Taken in and of itself? Yep. Taken in the context of their whole discography? No...not so much. This band 'evolves' by changing singers, but that's like smoke and mirrors. Then again, I have a known penchant for bagging on bands that just release disc after disc of 5-minute songs (Evergrey, I'm lookin' at YOU) and don't really think beyond that (although Tom toning things down over time has been a welcome evolution). Vanden Plas, I'm lookin' at you, too.

And I also never much enjoyed the whole 'reaction video' thing on Youtube. But after this track got me, I've been really enjoying watching others have similar, wide-eyed reactions as mine.
