Hourglass - Voids and Visions (new album; new song "Void Within")

The band themselves have confirmed their upcoming new album will be called "Voids and Visions" on the heels of releasing this "single" - which, in typical Hourglass fashion, is 25 minutes long.

The bassist and keyboardist have changed, and there is yet another new singer on this album, as Cody Walker from 2004's Subconscious album returned but then had to drop out before the album was finished. Yahosh Bonner is a well-known gospel singer in the Utah LDS community from which come a lot of Hourglass members, past and present. Yet another reinvention of the band's style from this particular single. I have my thoughts on it for now, after one listen, but I do want to point out the part between 13 and 15 minutes as the absolute best part and what I want to hear more of on the rest of the disc.

Wow, another very pleasant surprise.... Never expected another album from them. How awesome!
