Classic prog metal with an excellent frontwoman. It's refreshing that it's basically Dream Theater-style prog without drifting into symphonic or goth metal stylings (I like goth metal, and sometimes like symphonic stuff, but I always felt like female singers doing plain ol' prog metal were under-represented).

Re: Backfire- Lex Naturalis
I like the music and I like her voice - but it’s either the production or her accent that makes it impossible to hear what she is singing… that’s a shame.devomeister wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 11:17 am

For this genre - classic prog metal with a female vocalist - I really enjoy the new Atomic Symphony much more than this.

That quick little instrumental bridge at the 2:20 mark..... Love it!!!
Like Claus said, the vocals are a bit hard to follow, but she's got a great tone so I am perfectly OK with that.....
Good find, I'm definitely digging this one.
