Conception Reissues

About a week ago Amazon put a link to pre-order the first 2 conception albums. Both are listed as 2022 remasters with bonus tracks. "The Last sunset" had a picture with a hyper sticker mentioning the CD release and "Parallel Minds" didn't have picture or hyper sticker until today. I noticed the hyper sticker on CD pre-order read "The Classic album on Vinyl for the first time. Remastered and pressed on Orange double LP". I guess this pretty much confirms that we're getting both a CD and LP reissue, at least for the first 2 albums. Here are the links.

If you're interested. The first 4 LP's and CD's are up for pre-order thru Amazon(U.S.) Once the band and Noise records make an official announcement we should be able to order thru other vendors.

While I have all the demos and bonus tracks, I still want these (if for nothing else, the fact that they are remastered) ... went ahead and pre-ordered all except "Parallel Minds", which for some reason isn't available on CD for pre-order yet?!

They started the pre-orders with "Parallel Minds" and "The Last sunset" on CD and then a few weeks later they opened up the pre-order for all the rest.

I think once Noise records officially announces the release we should be able to pre-order everywhere, including with Ken Golden at Laser CD.

At the moment I’m only seeing The Last Sunset and Parallel Minds on CD as available. I have my rep investigating the other titles and formats.

Thanks Omar. I swear (!) that the CD wasn’t there for me yesterday haha. I’ve preordered it now. I wonder if there’s a difference on Amazon on what’s available on mobile vs desktop? Also, the price point was different…

I've noticed that in both the CD and LP the price went down on the "Parallel Minds" album only. I hope they do the same to the other albums. .

At the moment pricing is all screwed up. I was told it will take a week to get it straightened out.

I ordered mine from Noise Records, whose paypal didn't want to ship to the US. They took my credit card, though, so...hopefully they show up eventually. I got all 4 because I uh...never actually had the originals on disc.

CDs arrived yesterday, but haven't had a chance to spin them yet.

That said, I was very disappointed with the packaging; it's a simple 2-panel digipack with an inserted booklet, that is a stripped down version of the original booklet, with no additional photos, no additional information or anything. And only in one of them ("The Last Sunset") is there even a mention of the 3 bonus tracks in terms of where they were recorded and who wrote them. I almost wish I had just gotten the digital version of these instead of the CDs, as there really isn't anything special about them bar the fact that there are 3 bonus songs on each (most of them I already had).

The actual remastering is very good to my ears. Everything is so much clearer and cleaner. Really happy with these.
