Came across this on someone elses top 20 of 2021 list, and didn't know that the singer and drummer formed a new band called Hillward:

Looks promising!

I'm a fan of Southern Cross but not Hillward (I did check out)...

Fans of Porcupine Tree may like Hillward... I'm not a fan of Porcupine Tree...

I actually did like HIllward when it came out many years ago ........ if I remember right, the only thing I didn't like about Southern Cross was that the singer didn't seem to fit the music - yet in Hillward I thought he fit better .........

Either way - Southern Cross was onto something ....... a shame they didn't continue. It was sort of like what happens with Haken ....... great music, but lots of people don't care for or even hate the vocals of Ross ........ same with S-Cross. In both cases, the combos seemed to have worked - in least in Haken's case where they have gone on to do great things ......
