This is very sad. Robby lived a couple miles away from me. Super nice guy. Crossed paths with him many times in the neighborhood just out and about doing normal life. Kansas was a huge, huge part of the soundtrack of my teenage years (and beyond).

R.I.P. Robby. A brilliant musician, too soon gone.

RIP. This man defined the string sound of my childhood. (sorry for making some of you feel acutely old)

***It's more like when my musical heroes die, it makes me feel older and older ......... these guys aren't that much older than me. When you are kid and worshipping guys like Steve Walsh, you don't realize that someday you find out that they weren't that much older to you to begin with ..... it creeps up on you all of a sudden and it hits you like a good slap in the head......and it does hurt.

When we saw them live a couple years ago my dad remarked "wow some of those guys are really old now" and when he looked it up they're younger than him.LarryD wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 7:47 pm***It's more like when my musical heroes die, it makes me feel older and older ......... these guys aren't that much older than me.
