Well, I like metal of course but some of the most memorable albums of mine isn't metal at all.
So hope it's OK to make a post with them anyway :-)

Downes Braid Association - Halycon hymns
One of my favourites this year. If you like Yes ... this is the best Yes-like album in years. Great from start to finish.

Hanna Eklöf - Bare bones
Stefan Altzar of PrehistoricAnimals mentioned he really loved this one and since I know the two of us have a really similar taste I gave it a try. And yes, this is some well crafted music indeed. Fantastic album.

White Moth Black Butterfly - The cost of dreaming
The side project of Daniel Tomkins of Tesseract. Not sure yet if I like this one as much as thair previous album Atone. But it has for sure some fantastic songs and "The dreamer" is probably the song I have played the most times this year. Brilliant.
