I was coming here to post this, lol.
Their first album is also very good. Think like...Hans Zimmer metal. Very movie score-like.

Re: Anima Tempo
Okay now this is absolutely amazing - that first disc (from 2016) sounds so much like the Michael Romeo disc from 2019 it’s not even funny. The song “Behind the Gates of a New Come” is seriously like the foundation of Romeo’s “Fucking Robots” tune … guess mr Romeo isn’t that original after all LOL. I hear SymX meets djent meets melodic-tinged tech/prog death all over this one in the same fashion Romeo did on his last disc.Mardoch wrote: ↑Thu May 27, 2021 10:15 amI was coming here to post this, lol.

I ended up also getting all their 3 singles following the debut disc and there’s so much promise in this band. They would have potential to go very far if it wasn’t for the fact that they aren’t from USA or any Western European country (gosh, geography sucks for talented bands).

Anima Tempo was actually supposed to play at ProgPower Europe before COVID. It was about time they got a big gig like that. Their debut was excellent.
