Octavision - Coexist

I like this better than Sons of Apollo.
Weird that Jeff and Billy are in this.

For whatever reason I cannot get into Sons of Apollo. I've tried. This I'm digging. Not sure why. Good call

I always say that Sons of Apollo is less than the sum of its parts. I'm not contractually obligated to love everything that Portnoy and Sherinian produce, so I'll take a dispensation here. Although, the dvd of the show in Bulgaria (?) in the Red Rocks-looking place with the highway passing underneath it is really, really good. Maybe their material is better live than in the studio.
I'll be the judge of what's good and what isn't, thank you... ;)

This is for sure true. Not only is the DVD better than the first studio album, but I got a chance to see them last January just prior to COVID cancelling everything, and it was an outstanding live show.... Far more energy than you get from the studio material.

Agree with all that everyone said here - this is one of those bands that fall into the category of "better live than on disc" ....... given the talent factor here, you wouldn't think that, but its true, for me anyway. When I saw them at PP, they blew me away - and that bluray show in Bulgaria is equally bad ass ...... on disc it seems a bit different, like its not the same band. So weird.

Fully agree about Sons Of Apollo. I have a really hard time getting through their studio discs but the live album they released was amazing.
Is a song titled "Everybody Dies" supposed to sound so happy?
