I went back and listened again ... still doesn’t do much for me.

That said, I just found out that apparently this is the same album he released a year ago (“Castles”) but in a more metal version of the same songs. Interesting concept; similar to what Katatonia did w “Dethroned...” which was a new version of their previous disc (“Dead...”). That’s kinda cool actually ...
