James Norbert Ivanyi - Omen Faustum
A little bit of jazz, a little bit of metal, a touch of electronics...and a lot of interesting. I'd be so bold as to say there's a lot of Spastic Ink influence on display. There's only one track up for preview right now, but it's a strong enough track that I'm slapping down a preorder.

This one's out now and...wow I'm really loving it. This is some Grade A wonky jazz metal fusion nonsense. I think this is probably a top 10 contender for me already. I love an album that makes me audibly exclaim "hell yeah!"

James and Plini are the only two "shred" type artists that I find interesting anymore, and they both are forces to be reckoned with!

I had to look back at where I heard of him from and it was Bandcamp recommending him to me because of you, so thanks for that! I was still rocking this all day today.

I checked this out last night and was pleasantly surprised. Some very tasty instrumental rock.
Is a song titled "Everybody Dies" supposed to sound so happy?
Doom, gloom, the World goes boom! None will be spared, so don't assume. Not ragged clothed nor silver spooned. You're all the same when extinction looms!

Man, I wish I enjoyed instrumental music more than I do - I can clearly hear the talent on display here, but after just a song or two I'm bored out of my mind. Such a shame though, as I'm sure this is top notch for the genre. I buy less than 5 instrumental albums a year, and I end up listening to them once or twice and that's it.
