Symbolic - 5ive insanely good power prog from California

That's not a typo, that's their latest album from a couple of years ago.

These guys have gone totally unnoticed until now. I've seen no mention on any forums I'm a part of. They are borderline proggy mostly just melodic metal. They have a really nice groove going on here and some great choruses. This is kinda like mixing Innerwish with Haji's Kitchen and using Stryper twin guitar tones. I've got this on the way. Their previous album sounds great too but its super pricy. I still may get it.

Hard to believe these guys aren't more of a topic cause they are far better than a lot of bands I see mentioned here.

You had a me a Haji's Kitchen ;)
I checked it out, and it's definitely not bad, but not amazing either in my opinion. I'll give it another listen before deciding if to discard or not ;)

Funny how many bands there are called "symbolic" or "symbolik" ... one of my favorites this year is this one:

Now THAT is an incredible album ... super technical death metal with very flashy guitar stuff (like Malmsteen/SymX/KingD) all over it.
