Evergrey remasters?

I missed the boat, I guess. I knew there were some vinyl remasters of the earliest albums that apparently sucked, but I just spotted remasters of some of the later albums. Anyone heard the Recreation Day remaster? Is that one any good? That was easily their most over-compressed and nasty sounding release back in the day. Did they fix it, or is it still a mess?

Nevermind. Tracked down some samples. No real improvement. Maybe some dither used on Recreation Day to make the highs less harsh, but the chorus of the title track is still distorted as hell. What a wasted opportunity.
