Brave - the calm | the storm

For those who remember the amazing Washington, DC area band Brave, their first full album in over 10 years just came out. Several of the members were/are also in the most recent incarnation of While Heaven Wept. Check it out!

Cool! I really dig their _Waist Deep in Dark Waters_ EP. WHW's Tom Phillips wrote 1 or 2 of the songs on that I believe.

Just wanted to say this remains one of my favorite releases of the year still. I think it may be the best thing they've done to date. Mature, highly accessible songwriting with eclectic influences: folky, a bit proggy, occasionally atmospheric, and a pleasing mix of metal and lighter rock.

I am a HUGE fan of the band, and I feel bad for not championing them, but extenuating circumstances, blah, blah. Waist Deep in Dark Waters was brilliant, and I need to give this new one added spins. Thanks for bringing it up!
I'll be the judge of what's good and what isn't, thank you... ;)
