HOLY COW!!!! I can't believe these two are touring together.... The two best young prog metal bands out there today.

I don't think its possible to put together a cooler tour right now.

If you haven't heard Bent Knee, they're gonna blow a lot of people away.

If folks want to make a weekend out of it in Atlanta, I'm there. I'm also there if everyone tells me to fuck off.

That’s what I’m thinking. I wonder if Southport has a chance of squeezing them in on the open Monday date? They have a habit of doing just that.

That'd be easier than going to Atlanta for sure, lol. But I'm down for either if you don't mind me tagging along with you.

Nice! Expecting this means Leprous will get a longer setlist than they did when opening for The Dear Hunter & BtBaM.

I've been a lurker here and PMX and since the original Mindcage days. I'm really looking forward to this show. I saw Mammoth, Sithu Aye, and Haken on the same night a while back (last year), but it was a work night and Haken didn't go on until after midnight. I wanted to stay, but I was too tired. I did hear 1985 and some stuff of of affinity, but my eyelids told me to leave.

For this upcoming show, I've studied up on Bent Knee and really like them. I've only listened to Land Animal, but it's a good indie sound with odd timing and I'm really looking forward to seeing them now. This lineup is really great, and even though I'm not a huge fan of live shows, had no choice but to purchase a ticket for this one, which will be in Salt Lake for me.

Back in the 90s when metal was dead and prog metal was a super special thing, we had no chances for concerts like this. There were bands like In-Flames, Meshuggah, etc. that came through (probably early 2000s actually), but that was rare. Plus I never got to see Meshuggah cause they canceled. Don't know what it is, but I'm glad really good live prog style music is becoming available all across the US. People talk about the good old days a lot, but to have these younger bands like Leprous, Polyphia, Plini, etc., carrying on the torch, I'm definitely going to go out and see them live.
