This a STRONG album of the year candidate. It's Aryeon musically meets Epica orchestrally. Throw is some Beyond the Bridge atmosphere (with the male/female leads) and Symphony X grooves for good measure.

Unfucking real.

....and here's the line that kills me.

NOTE – Universal are not releasing this on CD as it’s a dying format. This is a shocking decision considering they have a potential ‘Ostura’ of an album in their possession. Criminal. Here’s hoping the band can offer up something via a Pledge campaign.

Sadly, this is only available for streaming in the U.S. currently. The band is working on digital options, but their hands are tied by their label (Universal). They are hoping to get it on Amazon soon.

This really sucks! Wtf Universal? This one is the real deal! It would be a travesty if a lossless version of some sort isn't made available.

You aren't shitting ....... I'm not sure what Universal is thinking, but they have a monster of a disc on their hands, and they only allow streaming ? I'm scratching my head on that one .......

As far as the music - I'm blown away. In my short form, try to imagine Beyond the Bridge and Epica getting into a blender and putting out one kick ass concept disc. It's that quality. 3 singers I believe (or that I can detect) ? Check. David Readman sounding singer ? Check. Midnight or some other quality high pitched singer ? Check. Simone Simons sound alike ? Check. Production. Bombastic. Melodic. Beautiful. Heavy. Atmospheric. Violins and cellos. Choirs. Strings out the ass. If you can think of it, it's in here.

This is easily disc of the year material - even if it doesn't come out on disc.

And to be a bit blaspheme here, I'm enjoying this much more than Ayreon / The Source disc ...... that's how good it is.

Listen and weep. It doesn't get much better than this so far in 2018. And there is a long way to go !!!!!

Agreeing with you guys on the comparisons.
Epica, BtB, Ayreon, SX, also some eastern touches like Myrath, and Orphaned Land. The female singer sound like Simone (even better) with a touch of Sharon Within Temp.).

The Tohider dude is a vocal acrobat, and really all the vox on here are superb!

This sound good just streaming it, but it is begging to played in better quality on a monster sound system. The person making the decision on this at Universal is an idiot.

CD is now available via CD Baby. It's not cheap, but still worth every penny.

The interesting thing about this is -- at first, when this was released, you could only stream it. Now, it's being sold on CD baby, and you can only buy the disc, you can't download the MP3s.....little bit of weirdness there, but this dinosaur wants the CD anyway.

I also read that each song comes with it's own separate artwork ......cool !!!!! Must be a big, bad ass CD as is the music ........ :)

Wow! I can't wait to buy this! In the meantime, got it playing non-stop on Spotify. Just have to deal with the sub-par Spotify quality until I can buy the real thing....

I'll re-buy the real McCoy when Ken gets it ...... but man, someone in this band's management or someone in the band just can't get this thing right ...... it's been a choppy road just to get this music at all into our hands........maybe I haven't paid attention to this aspect of it, but I don't remember other bands having this much trouble getting their music out ? At the very least, I'll buy the damn disc from Bandcamp if it was there in the first place........

First, it was on iTUnes for purchase, then it was gone, and you couldn't even stream it after that.
Next, you could stream it on Spotify
No Bandcamp purchase
Now you can buy the CD-R from CD Baby, but you can buy the MP3s which you normally can = but you do get the artwork apparently.
Now The Lasers Edge will sell the actual CD in May

I know the band is from Lebanon, but come on man !!!!! A disc this good with this much trouble to actually lay your hands on ? Something is wrong somewhere......

Just for kicks I went to Amazon Digital Music and was amused to find the expected date for the mp3 album is 12/31/2039. Optimism in practice.

Doubtful. Band told me CD Baby replicated 100 CDrs. No glass mastering.

They are in the process of manufacturing real CDs now.

Same here - my copy arrived last night and I can't tell that it's a CD-R .......or at least if I didn't know it was, I would never have been able to tell otherwise......however, that doesn't mean I won't be buying a "real" disc when it comes in, and it won't stop me from playing this today and finally being able to proclaim it's now the CD-R of the year.......hehehehe ......

Hey - if it takes a whole year of going thru this disc and finally being able to proclaim CD of the year - I'll do it. I'll just re-live the excitement over and over again......

Still, this is the weirdest case of watching a band finally get to release a CD of their awesome music. The sequence of events is just plain strange. I don't anything about Universe label, but I'd be asking some questions to someone ........

Someone should have put this on Bandcamp at the very least ???

Playing my CD-R right now -- CD-R of the year !!!!!! When I get the real disc from The Lasers Edge I can finally say CD of the year ........

This disc is so fabulous ........ I cannot imagine anything else beating this out as #1 disc of the year for me .......... where else can you get Symphony X / Epica / Within Temptation all rolled up into one monster disc ???

Taking a handful of songs from the 3 bands mentioned and burning them onto a CDR maybe?

Ready for me to go away again yet?

I do get your point though...and I think this will end up high on a lot of top n lists come the end of the year.
