Old school prog metal haul

Postby Random Axe » Wed Jan 24, 2018 6:49 pm

A buddy recently bought an entire collection and was selling them off individually between 3 and 6 dollars. There were a bunch Id traded over the years and some I never had.

Timescape - Strange, Two Worlds
Superior - Behind
Chromeshift -
Hubi Meisel - Emocean, Kailash
Ascenion Theory -
Fragile Vastness - exerpts
Persona non grata
Southern Cross - Down

All that for 50 shipped. Couldnt pass that up and I may go back for more...

Me too. If memory serves, he stiffed Mr. Lalu, who had written a third.
I'll be the judge of what's good and what isn't, thank you... ;)

Still have 7 of those in my collection. Traded a couple of the others. Never had the Southern Cross.

Played Timescape, Hubi, Ascension Theory & Fragile Vastness to death when they were just released.

Nice haul !!!!! I have all of those except Persona .......and they all are excellent. Strangely, I have the Timescape disc in my "to sell" pile -- I may have to go back and play it again before I let it go ........

I'm off work tomorrow so I think I'll spin some of this. I've got like 15 or more albums I haven't yet gotten to.

BTW, Gods of Silence is pretty damn badass. Its basically the band Kirk witha diifferent vocalist and slightly heavier. Thats first in tomorrows rotation
