I absolutely loved this album, but I'm having such a hard time listening to it anymore - "This Heart of Mine" was the song my ex-wife and I had our first dance to at our wedding, and even though we've now been divorced for 3+ years, and all is good between us and we've both moved on, it still hurts...

She is such an amazing singer! Just stunning here! Thx for posting.

I think I stopped after Animal. Everything through that one is worthy imo. I also like Fire & Ice more than Eclipse for what it’s worth.

I definitely have a different perspective than you guys. I have at least 100 albums with me at all times on my phone. Blue tooth to my car stereo, headphones, etc., doesn’t get any more convenient than that imo.

I love Southern Empire, and find them more interesting than Unitopia. Though to be fair, I should explore Unitopia more. I did like what heard by them, but didn’t get pulled in the way SE grabbed me right off.

I’m ok with interludes if they are done well. The spoken parts here make me cringe. I’m just glad they are all separate tracks. Just make a playlist, burn a new cd, etc. without the interludes. Easy enough.

I’m in on this one, and it’s better without (most of) the interludes for me.

The first 2 are much easier to get into than the Legend series. Those are much more experimental, dense with layers of things going on. They are a long exhausting listen, but rewarding as well. It’s the sort of music to put on with headphones during a long dreary lazy day with a favorite beverage.

Count me in as loving this disc. It’s very much on the melodic side of prog metal. Quite catchy while still having the chops to keep things interesting. I think Henrik is a very good singer. Haven’t noticed a lisp personally.
Perhaps not creating much new, but extremely well done non the less.

I’m enjoying this one. I do think it’s more of a rock than metal record. It’s not brilliant but it’s very good imo. Ark, on the other was quite brilliant.

Huge Nevermore vibe on this. If you need a serious heavy kick in the ass you definitely want to spin this. My god!! Pun intended, of course. Gonna be hard to top this one I say. I can hear some SX in there without it being too blatant. Which is a good thing.
I’m trying to place who the singer reminds me of. I hear a bit of Khan perhaps, but there is someone else I’m trying to connect here.

Great stuff indeed! I put Harvest Moon in the now playing pile last week, but I have not got to it yet. Been quite a while for me too. Those 3 prior to the new singer are great. this band was great.....until the lead singer change. The whole vibe of the band changed and unfortunately not for the bet...
