Re: KARNATAKA / Requiem for a Dream .......

I picked this up from Ken a few weeks ago, but have been laid up with Achilles repair surgery so my listening has gone in the tank for now..... I did spin it ONCE before the surgery, and enjoyed it (especially the epic) but definitely need to go back to it. Thankfully, got the green light to resume ...

Unsure how well received "Sakada" was.
I thought it was AWFUL. And to put that in perspective, I am a big fan of "Strange & Beautiful" and STILL thought "Sakada" was bad...... :)

Silent Skies on AM Local News????

OK, I have seen it all..... Our local news show had a quick "music" segment, talking about the new tune from Rolling Stones, some old archive set from Joni Mitchel..... oh, and hey check out this acoustic version of "The Trooper" performed by Silent Skies, and had a quick interview piece with Vikram...

Starting to work through the Evergrey discography on my drive time..... Had not listened to some of these albums in YEARS now. "Dark Discovery" remains a bit of a beginner's effort, obviously, and DAMN does Tom look YOUNG on that album!!! Looks like he's 14 or so!!! "Solitude Dominance Tragedy" is o...

In my opinion there are idiots on both sides and no one is perfect. It's not that anyone participating in the arguments is bad or an idiot, it's just that those 2 topics bring out the worst in people, which is why they shouldn't be discussed. Well, from what I have learned over the last seven years, the first part of that statement is likely not as accurate as one ...

"Seven" is of course another amazingly solid album. They don't put out new stuff often, but when they do its QUALITY. I think I prefer "Better Days" by a nose, but this is right there with it. On a side note, Claus what are your thoughts on that band Eclipse? Normally I'm not big on hard rock, but m...

Anubis Gate: Interference. Love this band and this one I find myself liking more and more with each listen.
