...it has a tendency to get boring. Album is way too long. Vocalist is okay (not as bad as the Haken singer) but he is the weak link in my opinion.

Given how often as our preferences coincide I find every one of these dramatic differences very funny.

This remains true. When I do find myself wanting a staunch Gruyere I tend to go for my classics. Often Dream Evil or Twilightning. The cheesiest cheeses.

I have some of their older stuff, but ultimately I wouldn't end up listening to this one because I just don't like those thin, reedy, high vocals very much.
