Re: New Horizons - Inner Dislocation

I played about half of this disc on You tube ...... the music was fantastic, but the singer is just a bit much for me .......much to heavy on the accent, ans sometimes the powerful music just simply overpowers him..... it feels like a discussion we would all have back in 1998-2002 with the slew of I...

Re: New Horizons - Inner Dislocation

Yes, yes, yes...once again this board comes up trumps. This is fantastic, so much so that I have tracked the band down & sent them a message asking if I can get hold of a promo to review it. This needs a wider audience. It may not be the most original music out there, but I love the vibe of thi...

Re: COLLIBUS - Trusting The Illusion

I played a couple of tunes - and while I enjoyed the first one, I didn't care for the second one ...... I seem to enjoy the female singers more in a "Goth" setting than I do in a strictly straight or power metal act..... I'm not sure why that is. I know some of these women have great voice...

I merged the posts ...... if I remember correctly, I checked this out on YouTube, and thought the music was fantastic ..... but I also thought that the singer had bit much of an Italian accent ? Am I right and did anyone else feel this way ?

Maybe I slept on this, but I didn't realize this was a thing. It is CRAZY how much detail they've pulled out of these tunes. This song did absolutely nothing for me ........ but I'll certainly wait for the disc to judge completely ....... I was expecting a power house song to hit us first, not the "single" or one of their lesser songs ....... Ronnie still sounds as awesome as ever though ........

I didn't even know this was in the works .... thanks to Ken tipping me off to this one. Grabbed this one immediately from The Lasers Edge for $20. It's worth every penny imo. I'm a chump for two things : 1) Concept disc 2) Remasters (that are well done). Count "The Visitor" as one in the w...

Re: New Kamelot single

Just some quick thoughts .......good or bad......... - It's Haven Part 2 - Tommy stills sounds like Khan; I guess that's the way they want it. - It's Kamelot. - It's a bit more industrial sounding, or at least the guitars sound it. - Sad that only Thom remains of the original lineup. - It's Kamelot....

This is pretty bad ass symphonic metal ...... I've been trying for days to come up with some similarities of bands, and I finally came up with this ....... Serenity meets Angel Dust.
