Lalu - The fish who wanted to be king
Happy release day to "The fish who wanted to be king". So glad to be a part of this project. Not only is the music completely to my taste, but it is also performed and composed by a collection of individuals that I like very very much. Have a listen! https://open.spotify.com/album/7ooGLDyB5gugflw7n5...

Lots of new music this Friday; I liked parts of the previous Alkaloid album. The new one didn't hit me at all. Tesseract has been my fav band in recent years, but I didn't really like the previous one (Sonder). Now they are back in form. So many fantastic moments on this album. It's really just the...

Haha, for some reason this type of "odd and unperfect" vocals often works great for meintroclaus wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 3:56 pmMusic is wonderful but the vocals grate my nerves … sounds like an English version of Tom Petty.

I love the new Riverside.
I love the new Katatonia.
But eMolecule beats both of these. This is new and refreshing.
Easiest way to describe them is possibly like a mix between OSI and Frost*.
Great album!!!

I think that's about it.
Well, OK, I will probably buy the next MEER album right away as well. Discovery of the year.

Going to ProgPower Europe in two weeks where Seventh Wonder is headlining, but I'm sorry, it's the band I'm looking least forward to see. It doesn't give me anything. I'm with Claus here, most of the releases I enjoy these days are not traditional ProgMetal. The bands I'm really looking forward to s...

Re: PENDRAGON / Fallen Dreams and Angels - and all the loose ends.
This was my number one band for many years. I also started with "The world". Found it in the good old days in a record store and the cover artwork just sold it for me. And when I FINALLY was going to see them live for the firt time Covid came and killed that chance. Hopefully it's not too late yet.
Onelegman
Here's an italian band that has really caught my interest lately. Two singles out now from the album that will be released on October 21 and I really enjoy them both. Love the singer and some great Devin-influences in there.

I have seen the name but never checked them out, but now when they were announced for ProgPower Europe I had to do my homework. Obviously they are a pretty big name in their home country Finland. KEOR - Teardrop The 2018 album Petrichor was such a wonderful surprise (thanks Mattias Noren for posting about them), but the new album is just a bunch of stupid noise. Seems like something Toehider or Devin Townsend would put out, and that just doesn't do it for me at all ... Very disappointing. I...
