Re: Animal Drive - an Ark Burn the Sun vibe going on

Cool Voice. Dude has the Coverdale side of Jorn down big time! Dead ringer.
Jorn is more versatile though.

I do hear a bit of Ark in the chorus too. More straightforward stuff than Ark. I would like to hear more.

This new one is super funky and I'm madly in love with it. I think I've listened to it a dozen times by now? He's got his groove bigtime for this disc it seems like.

Quite a groovy song. Those filler riffs are nasty cool!

For those of us who like balls out guitar wankery that's also tasteful...this one's gonna be a late year top 10 contender in a big way. First single: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Yrp2e21_Tc Second single: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsUUG3Aq9Vc The second one is by far the better. It starts...

Re: DELAIN / A Decade - Live at Paradiso bluray.......

Thanks for the review LD! I'm mildly interested in this. Not a big fan, but do love live bluray shows. The price is prohibitive for us casual fans. I don't need all the extra discs, just give me the bluray damn it! The spinning camera, and fast edits tend to ruin these shows for me as well. I'm goin...

Not a huge Doom fan here, but I do like a bit of doom when its done this way. Not pure doom, and quite melodic. This is really good.

I've not checked out Widek yet mostly because I only have so much bandwidth for instrumental stuff and I've never thought to hit that one up when I was in that mood. Working in an actual office with someone against has kind of changed this math up, though. I can't really sing at work when there's s...

DT has been a bit meh for a long time, but IMO Haken isn't elite until they have an elite vocalist. Now, I'm not the sort of person who cares a lot about vocals in music relative to the instrumental performances, but I'm analyzing the question just from the perspective of "prog cult" pote...
