Re: Glynn Morgan returns to THRESHOLD!

Can anyone tell me what Damian posted on FB that might have caused him to get fired?

Re: Pain of Salvation / Remedy Lane re-visited......

We heard the comments, we weren't sure how to handle it -- we got through it and eventually enjoyed the show as best we could. That debate lasted for months on Glenn's board and on our board ......there is no need to bring that up again, Hey, Larry. Can you or anyone else point me to a link? I'd li...

Conception

Any (new) bands that you feel sound like Conception? I've been playing a lot of In Your Multitude and Conception lately. What a great, great band! Maybe it's because of the vocals and Tore's playing, but I just don't seem to think there's another traditional band out there that combines melody with ...

Favourite Dream Theater album in terms of guitar solos?

I've been listening to a lot of Dream Theater lately and I just thought how amazing Petrucci's solos are on the Awake disc. He'll probably never write and play so many amazing solos on the same album again. I think "Lie" and "Scarred" remain unmatched in terms of his melodic sens...

Re: Comments on Leprous albums

I just checked out their page on metal-archives and talk about changing band members left and right. I could tell the drummer on their last one was a different guy, but it looks like they've gone through so many lineup changes throughout their career. Has the band ever commented on this?

Re: Comments on Leprous albums

OK, thanks, everyone! Lots of interesting comments. I remember picking up Tall Poppy Syndrome when it was released and while I thought it was okay I wasn't really blown away. For some reason, I never checked out Bilateral or the others. After reading the posts on Coal and their last one, my curiosit...

Live shows or studio albums?

I've seen most of my all-time favourite bands live, from Opeth to Pain of Salvation to Evergrey to Dream Theater, etc, and while I waited for years to see some of them on stage, I feel I always prefer listening to them on tape. That way, I can enjoy them a lot more for some reason. Speaking of which...
