They even let me in after I got rather drunk on their booze and blathered for way too long! Clearly they have questionable judgement in people, but I think it's offset by the generally excellent taste in music.

Damned good tune. It's good to see that the Hungarian metal scene is still cranking out some fantastic prog. A 7 euro ask for 5 songs is on the high side so hopefully they're all similar length.

I'm pretty much with Larry on this one. I don't even need to buy it because I know what it is and that I wouldn't listen to it more than once. I'm happy that Youngblood has a solid career in a niche in an industry that doesn't really like to grant them. I'm glad the formula works. But...it's just no...

Plus, the biggest thing that bugs me....Roy is a devout Christian. Ingar (bassist and really nice guy) is a devout Satanist. Between all this, I feel like a member of the Lone Gunmen and I smell bullshit. I'd love to be wrong. I mean at least they have the "believing that God exists" thin...

Hahahaha, no worries. I know full well that I'm pretty much the only person consistently wielding that particular hot take.

I didn't comment on Shaman either, but I agree that it's disappointing that it just sort of fizzled. There was a lot of promise there. I do quite enjoy Ed's solo albums though.

*dons asbestos cladding* Matos is a garbage vocalist, and he's not what made early Angra special. The Edu era is the best, but Aqua takes some time to appreciate. Fabio...he can't turn off his fucking vibrato, and what's worse is that it's wide as a truck. I can't stand him anywhere in anything, bec...

Aviations - The Light Years

More Berklee kids grow up and make prog metal. The grooves on this album are infectious as hell. I wish the singer's voice had more...body. But that's my only real complaint.

This is probably too modern for some of you *cough*.
