Re: 2018 So Far

As far as disks we're looking forward to, I'm surprised no one mentioned Kingcrow. For some reason the wait for this one is bothering me more than other anticipated disks. Not sure if it's because I pre-ordered it about a year and a half ago, but the wait for this one really seems long. ***Guy - yo...

Dang Larry, and I was so excited for Therion too. Amazon has 10 reviews and all of them were 5 star ratings, calling it absolutely "epic".....I'll trust your judgement on this one, as many are saying it's more rock than metal, and I always prefer their metal stuff, so I have a feeling I'd...

Meh, that didn’t do anything for me - and neither did the singer ... pretty bland. Exactly my reaction "Meh" I wanted to hear him do something different,an instrumental, some exotic styled chord progressions,orchestration... Instead it seems I got a case of blue balls in the form of a not ...

This was the song that basicly made me love Dream Theater again after 2 not so good releases...

(Virtual)Scott Mosher said it best...that song was the song most of us had been wanting and waiting for Dream Theater to write for 15 years(to me this was the best song since Home from Scenes)..

I'm going to second Claus' nominee for King Diamond / THEM ..... 1988. No one out there considers this a prog metal disc, but one listen to the song structures and the guitar work of the great Andy LaRocque is all it takes.
