Re: PM: Continuum FB Group

I'm getting close to kicking Google's sorry ass to the curb, too. Their products are pretty much all trash anyway. I wouldn't say that all their products is trash. For example google map and the search engine are great tools. But this everything free business model also have ethical issues. Since I...

Re: PM: Continuum FB Group

As a tool for keeping up with bands (and whatever other interests you might have), it really can't be beat. I agree that this is a very powerful tool... I prefer go searching the info I need than to be connected and having the info automatically sent to me. I like watch a movie, listen to an album,...

Re: PM: Continuum FB Group

For public facebook pages, not so long ago they were forcing us to log on to facebook to see the content of the page (it was not the case before). I've found a Firefox addon to block this log in window. It works fine. But it seems that this addon is no longer needed. I've checked with another browse...

Re: PM: Continuum FB Group

To start with, I don't like the idea of being the product of a company (facebook). Everybody have its own interpretation of song lyrics. When I read the following lyrics in the song "Into The Great Nothing" by Wolverine (album "Communication Lost"), I think about facebook: "...

I think it's about time PM had a FB place. The number of people I've seen post there who were part of the "golden age", and whom I have not seen post on either PM board is quite astounding. I'm sad to hear that the PM facebook version already exists and that some good people have make the...

First, thanks so much for this PM board. For the facebook version, sorry I don't like the idea. 1) Had a facebook account in the past and I don't want to re-create one 2) Even if the PM facebook version was accessible for everyone in read only, I will have to follow two discussion groups to don't mi...

I will watch the DVD only after the show coming this Friday. So far, I can say I love "Delusion Rain". "The World is a Game" seems excellent too, I need more spins for this one. I now have all the studio albums. It's maybe too soon for me to talk about the whole discography but i...

The best album of the 10s candidate (2010-2019)

So far, I have to go with Wolverine - "Communication Lost" (2011)
Very close is IQ - "The Road Of Bones" (2014), the music is as good, but for the connection with the lyrics, I have to go with Wolverine - CL.
Only 2 years and 4 months before 2020... Time flies...

VHS tapes we still own and looking for an official DVD release to get rid of

I still own on VHS tape: 1) Queensrÿche - Live In Tokyo (1984) Would have been nice if they had included a bonus DVD of this show on the CD reissue of the first EP which includes only the audio of this show as a bonus. 2) Stryper - Live In Japan (1985) This is an integral concert. I would like an of...

At the last IQ show in Quebec City, the singer told us that the song "From The Outside In" from the album "The Road Of Bones" was about vampires. I didn't know that. During this song at the concert, there was some projections on screens of a movie in black and white. My easy gues...

For me the best way to go digital is to still buy CDs! Unless you want to go hi-res or don't mind when the files are not lossless and gapless. 1) With my CDs I can create the format I want and have all files in the same format. In 2004, I ripped all my CDs in ogg vorbis. It was the best choice at th...
