Re: Where to start to see if I like the band Mystery?

Also, Mystery are quite local to you so you may be able to see them in concert and that might convince you! Funny that you mention this, I played 20 minutes of "Delusion Rain" on youtube and I just bought my ticket for the concert on September 15th in Quebec City! I also plan to buy the C...

You're totally right about Humanity-Hour 1. It's a killer album and one of their best. Heavy too. Yeah, all songs on this album is excellent! When this happens, there is of course more chance that a bonus track will be excellent too... And this is the case here... The bonus track "Cold" o...

I'm currently into a Scorpions rut! Revisiting the studio albums and concerts (including the new 50th anniversary editions) and also some stuff I recently bought that I have never listened / watched before. I'm currently working on the page of this band for my website. This will be my next update. ...

Blind purchase of course... I still play at least one song of "The Fullness Of Time" album almost every day! Of course I also play sometimes the whole album... As I mentioned before, my two most significant songs for me on this album are Scarred and Transcendence. As I said before, this al...

Re: VHS tapes we still own and looking for an official DVD release to get rid of

The third show I have from Ozzy is the Black Sabbath show with Brad Gillis (Night Ranger) on guitar. Incredible show. I believe you can find the Brad Gillis show out there on DVD, but not the other two. I have not looked as I've transferred those to DVD, but I know you can get the Brad Gillis show ...

VHS tapes we still own and looking for an official DVD release to get rid of

I still own on VHS tape: 1) Queensrÿche - Live In Tokyo (1984) Would have been nice if they had included a bonus DVD of this show on the CD reissue of the first EP which includes only the audio of this show as a bonus. 2) Stryper - Live In Japan (1985) This is an integral concert. I would like an of...

Lucky you are!
Only 100 persons... Sad indeed...
I saw them once in Quebec City while touring with Queensrÿche and Dream Theater in 2003.
I Think that was the first ever show for them in Quebec City.
I'm afraid that the chances are low for me to see them again in my city...

About the driver ASIO4ALL, I must add that this thing has saved me from a real nightmare... When I bought my new computer a couple of years ago, I had subtle audio glitches with my computer. Everything you can imagine to solve this issue, I have tried. Changing the motherboard, trying an audio card ...

IQ and Dracula...

At the last IQ show in Quebec City, the singer told us that the song "From The Outside In" from the album "The Road Of Bones" was about vampires. I didn't know that. During this song at the concert, there was some projections on screens of a movie in black and white. My easy gues...

Glad to met Guillaume. It was the first time I see Evergrey. I'm not very much into the recent albums. Unfortunately for me, they played almost only recent songs (as mentioned by Testofwills). Very few songs from the first 5 albums which are my favorites.

Re: I "might" have to go digital soon .... need some ideas.

For me the best way to go digital is to still buy CDs! Unless you want to go hi-res or don't mind when the files are not lossless and gapless. 1) With my CDs I can create the format I want and have all files in the same format. In 2004, I ripped all my CDs in ogg vorbis. It was the best choice at th...

I'm currently exploring the band Saga. I'm having difficulties finding interesting stuff for me after the album "Heads Or Tales" (1983). But I think "Network" (2004) is very good. It sounds more rock to my ears and the songwriting clicks with me. Now I need to visit the albums af...
